As a reminder school breakfast and lunch are free for all students!

On behalf of the entire staff at Oglesby Lincoln, we would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on the evening of November 24th and the morning of November 25th.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are an important time to meet with your child’s teacher and receive an update on their progress.

The procedure for scheduling will be online again this year to make the process easy for parents and teachers. Please watch for this information in your email, on the school website, Facebook page, and form your child’s teacher.

Book Fair Opening Night is scheduled for Friday November 14th from 4:30-6:00.

We currently have openings for the 2025-2026 school year. If your child is at least 3 years of age or turns 3 this school year they are eligible.

If your child has borrowed clothing from the health office due to an accident or spill, please wash and return these clothes to the school nurse in a timely manner.

If you would like to make a donation of gently used clothing, the Lincoln health office is in need of size 8-10 & 10-12 boys pants as well as 8-10 girls pants. Please only send pants in these sizes at this time.

Illinois Valley Food Pantry Information

In order to receive holiday food baskets, you must register as a client prior to the holiday distribution.
 
The pick-up for your Thanksgiving basket will be Wednesday, Nov. 19th from 1-6 p.m. This is a one day, curbside only pick-up.  You must show your photo ID and proof of address. This basket is in addition to your monthly order, if you are already receiving services.    

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The Illinois Valley Food Pantry is located at 4133 Progress Blvd, Peru, IL 61354.  Phone 815-224-3658.  For regular monthly orders, pick-up days are Mon. from 9:00 a.m. –12:00 p.m., Wed. 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Fri. 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
 
If this is your first time ordering or picking up from the Illinois Valley Food Pantry, you will need to stop by and fill out a form.  The hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.), Wed (10:00 A.M.-6:00 p.m.), and closed on Sat.
 
On your first visit bring the birthdates of all persons living in your household, proof of address, and a photo ID.

October Attendance Update:

October 2025- 95% which is higher than October 2024 when we were at 94.4% 

Year to Date Attendance is 95.4% last year at this time we were at 94.8% attendance. 

October homeroom with the best attendance is Mrs. Ernat's 2nd grade with a 98.5% attendance!

Good Luck to our 5th Grade Boys' Basketball team on their season! Their first game is November 3rd!
